An exciting and unusual project consisting of the strip out of an existing restaurant space situated underground on Brewer Street, Soho and the fit out of power, lighting, data and fire and security protection across three basement floors, with Grade II listed areas.

The space was designed in to five restaurants and bars, each offering a unique high-end dining and interactive experience, subtly themed around DC comics.

Design taken from stage 4 to completion, full electrical package including data, fire alarm, intruder, CCTV, liaising with Paul Nulty and delivering a high-end architectural lighting.

Client Testimonial:

Advanced Building Service Solutions were awarded through competitive tender the refurbishment of the D.C / Wonderland Restaurant refurbishment, the main scope of electrical works was to install new power & lighting, data, security & fire alarms to the various demises and bars within the restaurant whilst ensuring coordination of bespoke joinery fixtures and client direct contractors associated with the audio and visual for the specialist Monarch Theatre.

The lighting package was considerable with both high and low-level lighting to the bars and replacement luminaires to all the fragile listed coffers and wall panelling.

Their works inclusive of design coordination was undertaken with professionalism and aligned to our Master programme without hesitation or delay associated with the ever-changing design.

Their works on site had to consider internal hidden routes which were restricted due to the nature of the building and fact all walls and ceilings were listed.

The implementation of the electrical works required careful planning and coordination with a number of specialist companies involved with the project. Working closely with Heydon & Carr and the client design team, Joe Gerrard and his site team fully engaged with the project to deliver a high quality electrical installation while always considering the measures necessary to work safely within a live site, which was under the close stewardship of the landlord who controlled building.

We would not hesitate to recommend Joe & Advanced for their installation and design professionalism on any future projects.
